Introduction
Benvolio Prosecco is produced in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of northeastern Italy, within the Prosecco DOC appellation. The brand was founded in 2008 and is part of the Jackson Family Wines portfolio, operating with a philosophy centered on the Italian relationship between wine, food, and joy. The name 'Benvolio' means 'well-wisher' in Italian, reflecting the winery's mission to offer approachable wines for everyday celebrations.
Wine Description
This sparkling wine presents a sharp golden straw colour with finely textured and persistent bubbles. The nose offers fresh citrus aromas with delicate hints of honey and fresh flowers. On the palate, a vibrant and crisp acidity serves as a counterpoint to flavours of ripe citrus, fresh peaches, green apple, and grapefruit. The finish is light, refreshing, and crisp.
