Unfiltered, unapologetic, and unforgettable — Big Peat Mizunara is a bold fusion of Islay spirit and Japanese craftsmanship. This limited-edition release marries the signature smoky, earthy character of Big Peat’s small-batch Islay malts with the subtle sophistication of rare Mizunara oak casks from Japan.
Expect waves of ashy peat smoke, brine, and cracked black pepper layered with an exotic undercurrent of sandalwood, coconut, and warming spices — all hallmarks of the elusive Mizunara influence. Bottled at a punchy 53.8% ABV without chill-filtration or added coloring, Big Peat Mizunara delivers a raw, powerful experience that whisky purists crave.
