Bogle Chardonnay 2023 pours a bright, golden straw color in the glass. The nose is highly expressive and classic, opening with inviting aromas of green apple, ripe yellow pear, and fresh honeycomb, beautifully layered with secondary hints of vanilla bean, warm brioche, and toasted almonds. On the palate, this full-bodied, buttery white wine delivers a rich, round entry that rolls into a viscous, silky mouthfeel. Half of the wine undergoes barrel fermentation and is aged for nine months in new American oak with sur-lie stirring, imparting complex, rich layers of Asian pear, Honeycrisp apple, and subtle baking spices that persist into a soft, long, and beautifully balanced finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs perfectly with roasted chicken in creamy tarragon sauce, pan-seared sea bass with lemon-butter, rich mushroom risottos, or artisanal brie cheese.
92 Points - Wine Enthusiast
The aromas of freshly baked brioche are captivating, giving way to yellow plum, bruléed orange slices and notes of Elderflower honey on the nose. The flavors on the palate are sugared lemon rind, baked pear, Pink Lady apple with yeasty medium mousse and a mineral dry finish.
