1. Introduction
This sparkling wine comes from France, specifically the Bordeaux region, where it is elaborated in Cubzac les Ponts. Café de Paris has a unique and authentic expertise, having produced sparkling wines from its historic cellars in Cubzac les Ponts since 1898. The brand was acquired by Cordier in 2020 and its winemaking blends batonnage with traditional French techniques to create a distinct, low-sweetness style.
2. Wine Description
The wine presents a crystal-clear, pale yellow colour with a vibrant stream of fine bubbles. Its aroma is bright and expressive, offering vibrant citrus and delicate floral notes. The palate is dry, well-balanced, and refreshing, with a focus on aromatic freshness and citrus notes. This wine is a blend of six white grape varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Ugni Blanc, Sémillon, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and Colombard. It is noted for its complexity and fine bubbles, which balance its very low sweetness. The optimal drinking window is noted as 2025–2027. The alcohol by volume (ABV) is 11.5%. Information on the wine being organic is not available in the provided sources.
