The Casa Turrent Serie 1973 Robusto celebrates the Turrent family's deep roots in Mexican tobacco, spanning more than a century, with a San Andrés Criollo wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a blend of San Andrés Criollo and Nicaraguan fillers. Medium-bodied and rich in natural tobacco character, it delivers notes of leather, cedar, oak, earth, sweet dates, and a touch of pepper. Smooth, balanced, and distinctly Mexican, it's a cigar that showcases a different side of San Andrés tobacco.
Fog & Flame Notes: Most smokers associate San Andrés with the dark Maduro wrappers found on so many popular cigars. The Serie 1973 highlights another tobacco grown in the same legendary region, showing that San Andrés is known for far more than just Maduro wrappers.
