THE PERFECT COFFEE STARTS WITH THE PERFECT FILTER

Since 1941, Chemex bonded filters have been doing what no other coffee filter can—ensuring the purest, most flavourful cup of coffee each and every time.

Scientifically designed using the finest raw materials, the thick cone shaped filters extract all the bitterness and sediments during the brewing process.

Chemex bonded filters can be used with all brewers, allowing coffee lovers around the world to brew coffee the way they want it, from mild to bold.
FEATURES

Thicker (20-30% more than the competition) specialty fibre filter design keeps bitter elements, oils, and sediments in place and out of your cup, while regulating the filtration rate for precise extraction.

Cone shape ensures uniform extraction for pure coffee flavour.

Oxygen cleansing is a bleach-free process, ensuring no chemical residue or taste is imparted to the filter.

Guaranteed not to burst under the weight of the liquid during filtration, and not to break when lifting out the grounds.

Pre-folded for convenience.

Will fit most other cone-shaped filter coffeemakers

Fits all Chemex coffeemakers except Three Cup.

Made in the U.S.A.
ABOUT CHEMEX

The Chemex Coffeemaker was invented in 1941 by Dr. Peter Schlumbohm PhD, whose focus was on making everyday objects more functional, attractive and enjoyable to use.

When designing the Chemex, Schlumbohm desired to not only make brewing the perfect cup simple, but also to have the vessel be a thing of beauty. Inspired by the Bauhaus school of design and by non-porous labware that would impart no flavour of its own, he fashioned the hourglass shape and double bonded paper filters that would allow for the purest extraction of flavour.

Pure in form and function, the iconic Chemex has remained unchanged for 75 years and counting. On permanent display at MOMA NY and other fine museums, it is truly a work of art.
