Everything you need to make your first batch of cold brew.
The Cold Brew Starter Kit pairs our cold brew maker with a 12 oz bag of Afraid of the Dark, the roast we reach for when cold brew is the plan. Add coarse grounds and cold water, steep overnight in the fridge, and wake up to a pitcher of coffee that is rich, smooth, and good to drink black or over ice.
Afraid of the Dark is a dark roast with notes of dark chocolate and praline. It comes across as comforting, not burnt, because we air roast and lift the chaff away before it can scorch. That is what keeps the cup smooth and free of the bitter aftertaste most coffee leaves behind, which matters even more when you brew cold and taste everything.
The maker is durable borosilicate glass with a one liter (34 oz) capacity and an airtight seal that keeps your cold brew fresh in the fridge for up to two weeks. One batch, coffee all week.
A portion of every purchase supports mental health organizations, so your morning cup does a little good too.
Fun Name. Serious Coffee. Get Obsessed.
