Davidoff Royal Release Robusto — you've been crowned royalty. The stringent quality control behind the Royal Release is second to none. Tobacco seeds are selected by hand, with genetics so tightly controlled by Davidoff that the plants are harvested separately from Davidoff's other crops. Once harvested, the Head Master Blender hand-inspects every bale for color, texture, and aroma before it is placed in the Royal Barn, a special aging barn reserved for Royal Releases. The tobaccos are then aged a minimum of 8 years until they reach the height of perfection. The wrapper (Aromatica Dominicana) is specially selected and appears only in the Royal Releases. These ultra-premium ingredients are handed to a group of 8 elite rollers tasked with crafting the most premium offering from Davidoff. With quality control this tight and crops extremely limited, only a select number of boutiques in the world have the privilege of offering these cigars. If you're looking to truly savor a moment, sit down with a Royal Release and spend part of your day feeling like royalty. It delights the palate from the first puff with smooth flavors of oak and fresh baking spices, followed by sweet milk chocolate and a velvety aftertaste.
