The Dunbarton StillWell Star Aromatic Dulce Dark Toro brings a darker, richer expression to Steve Saka's completely revamped StillWell Star portfolio. Rebuilt from the ground up for 2026, Aromatic Dulce Dark draws inspiration from the original StillWell Star Aromatic No. 1, but features a new blend, updated presentation, and a reworked sweetened cap designed to complement rather than overpower the tobacco.
Measuring 6 x 52, the Aromatic Dulce Dark Toro features a dark and oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés Negro Cultivo Tonto binder. Inside is a distinctive combination of premium Nicaraguan filler tobaccos and Cornell & Diehl pipe tobacco, including Black Cavendish, Virginia, and Burley incorporated directly into the bunch.
This unconventional blend produces a rich and aromatic flavor profile with notes of cocoa, campfire smoke, earth, and soft vanilla sweetness. The reworked sweetened cap adds another layer to the experience while allowing the natural character of the Habano wrapper, San Andrés binder, and aromatic tobaccos to remain at the forefront.
The generous 6 x 52 Toro format gives the blend plenty of room to develop throughout the smoke, allowing its darker flavors, smoky character, and subtle sweetness to gradually build.
Handcrafted at Joya de Nicaragua, the StillWell Star Aromatic Dulce Dark offers a unique crossover between premium cigars and traditional pipe tobacco. It's an approachable starting point for cigar smokers who have never explored pipe tobacco while offering longtime StillWell Star fans a new interpretation of the aromatic blend that helped launch the series.
For smokers searching for a Dunbarton StillWell Star cigar, aromatic cigar, pipe tobacco cigar, or rich Ecuadorian Habano cigar, the Aromatic Dulce Dark Toro delivers a distinctive combination of premium cigar tobacco, traditional pipe tobaccos, and balanced sweetness.
