Ex Post Facto represents a departure from Greg’s Burgundian roots at Brewer-Clifton, as he ventures into crafting a Rhône-style wine from his cherished Santa Barbara County. This wine embodies Greg’s adventurous spirit and desire to explore beyond the traditional Brewer-Clifton framework. It is produced in one of the coldest climates, undergoing sixty days of skin and stem contact, utilizing the most exhausted cooperage. The resulting flavor profile features notes of peppercorn, black cherry, and raspberry, culminating in a firm, dry, and persistent finish.
