The Fellow Series 1 Espresso Machine is a breakthrough in home brewing, combining elegant design with "prosumer" power. Engineered to eliminate the steep learning curve of espresso, the Series 1 uses intelligent shot feedback and assisted steaming to help you pull café-quality shots from day one.
Whether you are a beginner looking for guided recipes or an expert craving precise pressure profiling, this machine delivers a stable, repeatable, and rewarding experience.
Key Performance Features
Boosted Boiler Architecture & Rapid Start
Most high-end espresso machines require 20–30 minutes to reach thermal equilibrium. The Series 1 features a patented Triple-Element system that makes it ready to brew in under two minutes.
-
Flow-Through Heater + Steam: Instantly pre-heats water before it enters the boiler. Thanks to this, the machine can transition from brewing to steaming almost instantly. It manages the temperature recovery so quickly that you don't experience the typical "single-boiler lag."
-
Main Boiler: Paired with the flow-through system to eliminate temperature "crashing" when switching between brewing and steaming.
-
Actively Heated Grouphead: A commercial-style brass core with its own dedicated heating element ensures the water temperature stays "to-the-degree" accurate from the boiler to the coffee puck.
Assisted Milk Steaming (Auto-Stop)
Take the guesswork out of latte art. The Series 1 features a temperature-sensing steam wand that monitors your milk in real-time. Simply set your target temperature, and the machine automatically stops once it’s reached. It even includes an auto-purge function to keep the wand clean and a customizable interface for different milk types (oat, almond, or dairy).
Precise Pressure Profiling & Pre-Infusion
Unlock the hidden flavors of your specialty coffee. The Series 1 allows you to program variable pressure stages throughout the shot. Start with a low-pressure pre-infusion to gently soak the puck (reducing "channeling"), then ramp up to a steady 9 bars for peak extraction. This level of control increases sweetness and clarity in the cup.
Intelligent Shot Feedback & App Integration
Stop wasting beans. The Series 1 analyzes every shot and provides real-time feedback on the screen. If your shot pulls too fast (underextracted) or too slow (overextracted), the machine suggests the exact grind adjustment for your next attempt. Connect to the Fellow App via Bluetooth to download roaster-recommended profiles or create your own signature recipes.
