A bold and innovative blend from Utah's pioneering High West Distillery, Bourye represents the marriage of two distinctly American whiskey traditions: bourbon and rye. This 2026 release continues the legacy of one of craft whiskey's most celebrated expressions, bottled at a robust 101 proof to showcase the full character of both spirits.
The name "Bourye" cleverly combines bourbon and rye, reflecting the distillery's philosophy of blending the best of both worlds. High West carefully selects aged bourbon for its rich sweetness and vanilla depth, then marries it with spicy, high-rye whiskey to create a complex and layered drinking experience that transcends either category alone.
Each vintage of Bourye is unique, reflecting the specific barrels chosen for that year's blend. The 2026 release delivers waves of caramel, dark fruit, and baking spices from the bourbon component, while the rye brings peppery heat, herbal notes, and a crisp, dry finish. At 101 proof, this whiskey has the backbone to stand up in cocktails while remaining smooth enough to sip neat.
Tasting Notes: Rich caramel, vanilla, dark cherry, rye spice, cinnamon, dried herbs, toasted oak, with a long, warming finish of pepper and sweet grain
Perfect For: Sipping neat, on the rocks, or in elevated whiskey cocktails like a Manhattan or Old Fashioned
Proof: 101 (50.5% ABV) | Vintage: 2026 | Bourbon & Rye Blend
