THE DESIGN
Bocote is a fine tropical hardwood native to Central America, prized for its dramatic grain ranging from warm golden yellow to deep brown. Beyond its beauty it is a genuinely durable material, and no two pieces carry quite the same figure. This desk-sized Diamond brings that material presence to a smaller footprint.
THE CRAFT
Boveda packs handle the humidity in both directions — releasing moisture when the interior dries and reabsorbing it when the level rises — so it stays flat rather than cycling. There is no water and no calibration: the packs are replaced when they stiffen, typically every two to four months. The Diamond opens from the front on a drawer cut from solid oak, running on a Blumotion soft-close mechanism rather than lifting on a hinge: a lid releases most of the conditioned air in one movement, while a drawer keeps the bulk of it inside and the humidity recovers in minutes. Solid timber rather than veneered panel means the front will not lift or bubble over years of humid air on one face and dry room air on the other. Interior lined in Okoumé.

WHO THIS IS FOR
• A desk, a shelf or a favourite corner of the room • Someone who smokes regularly and keeps two or three boxes moving • A first serious humidor, matched to a Litolite table lighter or ashtray • A gift with real weight to it
CARE
Keep the humidor below roughly 21 °C and out of direct sun — above about 24 °C tobacco beetle eggs can hatch inside a cigar. A soft, dry cloth is all the wood needs, with no polish and no solvents. Handmade from natural materials: expect gentle variation in grain and tone from the photograph.
AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED
Litolite — handcrafted in Bassano del Grappa, Italy. Imported directly from the atelier by El Laguito Cigars.
