Kally x SingleThread Plum Shiso is an elegant, limited-release non-alcoholic wine alternative created through a collaboration between California beverage brand Kally and the three-Michelin-starred SingleThread Farm-Restaurant-Inn. Built on a crisp foundation of verjus made from young, tart organic Chardonnay grapes, this premium drink balances depth and brightness by blending rich organic plum juice with fresh yuzu juice. The standout ingredient is purple shiso, a Japanese herb handpicked directly from SingleThread’s farm in Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley, which infuses the blend with vibrant, complex notes of basil, mint, and stone fruit. Finished with light carbonation for a refreshing lift and a touch of organic tannin extract for a structured, wine-like mouthfeel, this sophisticated beverage contains no added sugars and is designed to pair beautifully with savory dishes like yakitori, dumplings, charcuterie, and grilled vegetables.
