La Aroma de Cuba traces its roots to Cuba, where it gained favor with Winston Churchill in the late 1800s. Revitalized in Estelí, Nicaragua by the renowned cigar maker Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia, this brand has become a major presence in the cigar world. It boasts a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper encasing a blend of aged, premium Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos cultivated on Garcia family estates. The smoke delivers complex notes of cocoa, cedar, molasses, and earth, complemented by balanced spices and a rich, medium-bodied finish. Praised by Cigar Aficionado with a 93-point rating and named the ‘#1 Cigar Industry Best Buy in the World’ after its relaunch, the La Aroma de Cuba El Jefe offers a full-strength Churchill format with a Connecticut wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and filler.
