Pittsburgh-based cigar purveyor “Island” Jim Robinson is one of the cigar world’s great personalities and his creations are always sure to capture the imagination and titillate the senses. And there is perhaps no better example than the lusciously entertaining Leaf by Oscar Sumatra.
Crafted for Island Jim by cigar-making wizard Oscar Valladares, the Leaf by Oscar Sumatra features a plethora of delectable Honduran filler tobaccos which are placed inside of a Honduran binder leaf and an enticing Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf. The cigar is then topped by an organic pressed tobacco cigar band and placed in a truly unique protective outer tobacco leaf.
The Leaf by Oscar Sumatra delivers a ton of smoke filled with deliciously rich, yet smooth wood, pepper and spice notes that are joined by a pleasing subtle sweetness throughout the stunning medium-to-full bodied hour or so adventure.
The act of removing the outer leaf which reveals the gorgeous stick to the shear delights to be found in each and every puff makes the Leaf by Oscar Sumatra a pure cigar smoking event that you do not want to miss! Ideal for after dinner, these gems will prove a wondrously satisfying companion to a fine aged Rum.
Get your Leaf by Oscar Sumatra now in Robusto (5" x 50), Lancero (7" x 38), Toro (6" x 52) and Gordo (6" x 60) sizes.
