Lost Lantern proves that exceptional bourbon doesn't respect strict geographical boundaries. They scour the country for rare casks from stellar regional distilleries. Finding these barrels takes serious effort. Blending them takes pure obsession. This 100-proof expression beautifully balances intense cask-strength components with a much more approachable, everyday drinking experience for truly serious American whiskey enthusiasts.
Every sip delivers a bold tapestry of regional flavors. You'll get earthy undertones from Nevada intertwined with sweet Ohio grain. It tastes incredibly vibrant and alive. I honestly prefer this lowered proof point because it lets the nuanced distillate shine without absolutely blowing out your palate with excessive heat.
We really appreciate the meticulous transparency behind this expansive project. They're naming every single sourced distillery right on the front label. This level of honesty is refreshing. Reviewing the exact sources allows you to appreciate the specific agricultural impact that different American microclimates impart onto the final aging spirit.
- Sourced directly from top-tier craft distilleries
- Bottled at a highly versatile 100 proof
- Masterfully blended for everyday sipping enjoyment
