Wrapper: Nicaraguan Corojo Oscuro
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Profile: Medium+
Lure Cigars Corojo is a bold debut from a fresh boutique brand launched in 2023, created by Lou Cross III in partnership with Valacari Cigars. Built as a Nicaraguan puro, this blend features a dark, oily Corojo Oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers, delivering a flavorful yet balanced smoking experience that bridges medium smoothness with richer, more complex character.
The profile is full of flavor while remaining approachable, offering layered notes of leather, baking spices, dried fruit, roasted pecans, star anise, and soft earthy tones, with subtle hints of citrus peel throughout. Designed to appeal to both seasoned smokers and those looking to step up in strength, this blend delivers depth without overwhelming the palate.
Available in multiple vitolas including The Lil’ Tony (5 x 50), The Big Lou (6 x 52), The Fat Tony (5 x 54), The Lunker (6 x 60), The BLT (Big Lou Torpedo) (6 x 54), and Sir Gar Churchill (7 x 48), with each size offering a slightly different expression of the blend. Handcrafted at Tabacalera Pages de Nicaragua S.A., Lure Cigars combines quality construction, unique flavor, and approachable pricing, making the Corojo Oscuro a standout addition to any humidor.
