Crafted in Tepatitlán de Morelos, in the high-elevation Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico, Milagro Silver is an estate-grown 100% Blue Weber Agave Tequila founded in 1998 by Pedro Camarena and Danny Schneeweiss. Born from a desire to combine traditional tequilero craft with modern distillation techniques, the 100% Blue Weber agave (Agave tequilana) is harvested at peak maturity after growing for 6 to 8 years in iron-rich red volcanic soil. The agave hearts are slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens (mampostería) to convert complex starches into sweet fermentable sugars, shredded via roller mill extraction, and fermented in open stainless steel tanks. To achieve its signature bright and remarkably smooth profile, the fermented wash undergoes double distillation using two distinct stills: first in a traditional copper pot still to retain deep agave character and rich essential oils, followed by a stainless steel column still to deliver crisp, fresh clarity. Unaged and bottled immediately, Milagro Silver showcases an energetic, agave-forward profile highlighting bright citrus, fresh herbs, and light peppery warmth.
Food Pairing: Fresh ceviche with lime and cilantro, fish tacos with chipotle crema, grilled shrimp, fresh goat cheese crostini, guacamole, or spicy pork carnitas.
Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with brilliant clarity, a smooth light-to-medium body, and bright, fast-moving tears.
Nose: Fresh, crisp, and vibrant, opening with bright cooked agave, fresh lime zest, and green apple, accompanied by subtle white pepper, lemongrass, and damp earth minerality.
Palate: Smooth, clean, and agave-forward on the palate, featuring sweet caramelized agave nectar, crisp citrus oils, and lemon verbena upfront before unfolding into light green vegetable notes, cracked white pepper spice, and wet stone freshness.
Finish: Medium, clean, and refreshing with lingering notes of sweet agave, zesty lime peel, fresh herbal tea, and a crisp peppery warmth.
Serve: Enjoy neat at room temperature in a Riedel Tequila glass or Glencairn glass, or as an exceptionally smooth, versatile foundation for craft cocktails like a Classic Margarita, Paloma, or Tequila Mule
