New Amsterdam Gin is the core contemporary gin expression from New Amsterdam — a modern interpretation that leads with orange, lime, and vanilla alongside traditional botanicals including juniper and anise, producing a smooth, citrus-forward, and approachable gin that bridges the gap between traditional London Dry's juniper intensity and the sweeter, more fruit-driven contemporary gin styles.
The citrus-forward profile makes it particularly accessible for vodka drinkers exploring gin for the first time — the orange and vanilla soften the botanical intensity while the juniper and anise maintain enough classic gin character for it to function in traditional gin cocktails. Frequently Asked Questions
Is New Amsterdam Gin good for someone who doesn't normally like gin?
Yes — the citrus-forward, vanilla-softened character is specifically more approachable than traditional juniper-dominant London Dry gins. For vodka drinkers curious about gin, New Amsterdam Gin is one of the most natural entry points in the category because the familiar citrus and vanilla notes reduce the botanical learning curve.
