From the renowned Saint Estephe appellation in Bordeaux, France, Pagodes de Cos is the esteemed second wine of Château Cos d’Estournel, a classified Second Growth estate with deep roots in the Médoc. Founded in the early 19th century, the winery is now under the ownership of Michel Reybier, whose commitment to precision and innovation upholds the estate’s reputation for bold yet refined wines.
Wine Description
The 2022 vintage of Pagodes de Cos presents a vivid, deep ruby hue in the glass. Aromas unfurl with dark cherries, cassis, crushed violets, and hints of graphite and cedar. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet graceful, with layers of blackcurrant, ripe plum, dark chocolate, and a subtle spice from well-integrated oak. The tannins are smooth and polished, supporting a long, harmonious finish.
