Patrón 100 Silver Tequila is an exceptional, high-proof expression that showcases the brand's commitment to traditional, artisanal production methods. Distinct from their standard silver offering, this specialized release is crafted exclusively using the ancient tahona stone wheel to crush the 100% Blue Weber agave. Distilled to exactly 100 proof (50% ABV) with no water added for dilution, this additive-free blanco captures the pure, highly concentrated essence of the agave plant. It delivers a robust, intensely flavorful, and highly structured profile that balances deep roasted agave sweetness with vibrant minerality and a warming peppery kick, making it a standout choice for agave purists and premium cocktail enthusiasts.
Food Pairing: Spicy shrimp aguachile, grilled octopus, slow-cooked pork carnitas tacos, robust fresh salsas, and mature, earthy cheeses.
Tasting Notes : Crystal clear and pristine in appearance, featuring a noticeably richer, more viscous, and slightly buttery mouthfeel compared to standard 80-proof tequilas.
Nose : Dense, rich, and highly aromatic. It leads with sweet caramelized and slow-roasted agave, backed by earthy, vegetal notes of wet soil and roasted root vegetables. Bright undertones of fresh mint, dried sage, and light lime peel lift the deep minerality.
Palate : Bold, structured, and distinctly warming. It opens with bright, sweet cooked agave and a smooth, buttery texture, quickly giving way to an assertive wave of spicy black pepper, earthy minerality, and subtle ginger heat.
Finish : Long, lingering, and agave-driven, fading elegantly with a smooth, coating softness and a robust, warming peppery kick that stays with you.
Serve : Serve neat in a copita or traditional tequila glass to fully appreciate its undiluted intensity and rich tahona character, over a single large ice cube to slightly soften the proof, or use it to elevate classic cocktails like a high-proof Margarita or a Tommy's Margarita.
