Smooth Wheated Bourbon - Perfect Balance of Flavor, Proof & Price
Penelope Wheated Bourbon showcases the distillery's commitment to balance and versatility. Using wheat instead of rye as the secondary grain creates a smooth, approachable bourbon with rich sweetness complemented by just the right touch of spice. At 95 proof, it strikes the ideal balance between boldness and drinkability, making it perfect for both sipping neat or using in cocktails.
The Wheated Difference
Wheated bourbons use wheat as the secondary grain instead of rye, creating a softer, sweeter profile. This approach produces a bourbon with enhanced vanilla and caramel notes, gentle spice, and exceptional smoothness. Penelope's wheated expression delivers all these characteristics while maintaining the complexity bourbon lovers expect.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Sweet vanilla and caramel with hints of honey, butterscotch, and gentle oak
