Ponte Prosecco Extra Dry
This sparkling wine is produced in the Treviso province of Veneto, near the Piave river, a region famed for Prosecco. Ponte, founded in 1948, is one of the area's most respected producers, known for combining tradition with modern winemaking. Made from Glera grapes grown on gravelly, medium-textured soils, the wine benefits from a mild climate and careful vineyard management. Cold pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation preserve the wine’s delicate aromatics and freshness. The result is a lively, elegant Prosecco with a fine mousse and a fragrant, fruit-forward profile. Its versatility makes it ideal for aperitifs and light meals.
- Brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish reflections
- Ponte Prosecco Extra Dry offers aromas of royal gala apple, golden kiwi and white wisteria
- Light-bodied with crisp acidity and a smooth, elegant texture
- Subtle herbaceous notes and grassy undertones on the finish
- Fine, persistent bubbles enhance freshness and lift
This wine pairs beautifully with seafood and vegetarian dishes. Its crisp acidity and delicate fruit notes complement grilled prawns, margherita pizza or goat’s cheese salad. The fine bubbles and herbaceous finish also make it a great match for light pasta dishes or fresh appetisers.
