Potocki Polish Vodka is an elegant rye-vodka that rises above typical neutral vodkas by retaining distinct grain character and subtle complexity. Smooth, refined and slightly peppery, it offers a thoughtful sipping experience or a high-quality base for elevated cocktails.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced in Poland, Potocki is made from 100 % rye grain sourced locally. The vodka is distilled twice at a slow pace to preserve the flavor of the grain, and crucially it is not charcoal-filtered, allowing the natural rye character to shine through. The brand traces its heritage to the aristocratic Potocki family and a historic Polish distillery founded in the early 19th century. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof), this small-batch spirit emphasizes authenticity, tradition and grain-driven precision.
Tasting Profile
Nose: Fresh and inviting with light aromas of rye bread, malty biscuit, and faint coconut milk or lemon-zest brightness. A subtle nuttiness emerges after aeration.
Palate: Silky texture, beginning with sweet rye grain, vanilla and soft caramel. Mid-palate brings clean peppery rye spice, hints of toasted cereal, and a touch of dried fruit or citrus peel.
Finish: Long and dry, with lingering rye bread notes, mild spice and a refined grain-core clarity. The finish is crisp rather than heavy, leaving a clean after-taste and a sense of depth atypical for standard vodkas.
