Rig Hand Distillery Lemon Gin is an artisanal flavored craft spirit produced by Rig Hand Craft Distillery in Nisku, Alberta, Canada. Crafted using their grain-to-glass Alberta grain base spirit, this expression infuses real lemon peel and natural lemon flavor post-distillation. The resulting spirit combines a bright, crisp citrus-forward profile with the foundational warmth of local malted grain and a light botanical backdrop.
Food Pairing: Fresh seafood, fish and chips, grilled lemon-herb prawns, goat cheese crostini, and citrus-dressed summer salads.
Tasting Notes: Translucent pale straw to light sunshine yellow in appearance with a smooth, crisp, and refreshing mouthfeel.
Nose: Vibrant and citrus-led up front, bursting with sweet lemon zest, candied lemon drop aromas, and fresh lemon juice, backed by subtle piney juniper and soft grain notes.
Palate: Crisp and zesty on the palate, delivering an immediate rush of bright lemon flavor and tangy citrus oil, which smooths out into subtle juniper pine, mild coriander spice, and a velvety grain undertone.
Finish: Medium-length, clean, and refreshing with lingering notes of lemon zest, subtle citrus sweetness, and a dry, crisp closure.
Serve: Serve over ice topped with soda water, lemonade, or premium Indian tonic water, garnished with a slice of fresh lemon and a mint sprig, or build into a Tom Collins, Gin Mule, or Lemon Spritz.
