Craft a Brew's Kombucha SCOBY & Starter Liquid provides everything needed to begin brewing fresh kombucha at home. Each live culture is grown from scratch and includes both an active SCOBY and starter liquid to help establish healthy fermentation for your first batch.
The SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) works together with the included starter liquid to ferment sweetened tea into kombucha while supporting consistent culture development for future batches. Each SCOBY measures approximately 3–4 inches in diameter but naturally grows to fit your fermentation vessel over time.
Suitable for first-time brewers and experienced kombucha makers alike, the culture can be reused repeatedly by retaining part of the SCOBY and starter liquid after each finished batch. The live culture may vary in thickness, color, shape, and texture, which is normal for naturally grown SCOBYs.
Whether you're brewing your first gallon or continuing your kombucha routine, this live SCOBY & Starter Liquid provides a reliable foundation for homemade kombucha fermentation.
