St. George Botanivore Gin is a vibrant, exceptionally aromatic American gin from St. George Spirits in Alameda, California. Appropriately named Botanivore—a “botanical eater”—this expressive gin is crafted with an impressive array of botanicals, creating a layered profile that moves effortlessly between citrus, herbs, flowers, fruit, and classic juniper.
The botanical recipe includes juniper berries, bay laurel, cilantro, angelica root, orris root, star anise, citrus, and other aromatic ingredients, resulting in a gin that is complex without becoming overwhelming. Juniper provides the foundation, while bright citrus and fresh herbal notes bring lift and floral and spice elements add depth.
At 90 proof, Botanivore has enough structure to remain expressive in cocktails while maintaining an elegant, balanced character. From a classic Gin & Tonic to a Martini, Negroni, or Gimlet, this is an exceptionally versatile bottle for the home bar.
