A base of 100% pot-distilled rye makes this a gin for whiskey lovers—as well as a compelling pour for the adventurous gin drinker. Think of gin as you know it, then think again and brace yourself for a spirit with structure, spice, a gloriously rich texture, and a soft, lush finish.
What’s in it?
Black peppercorn, caraway, coriander, grapefruit peel, juniper berries, and lime peel in a base of 100% pot-distilled rye.
Starting with unaged rye as the base spirit gives Dry Rye its warm, malty signature and full texture.
Juniper and rye share a spicy quality that's complemented by black peppercorn, caraway, and coriander. The brightness of the grapefruit and lime also brings the spice into focus, giving it a clean, crisp edge that delights before yielding to the richness of the pot-distilled rye.
The Process
We vapor-infuse the juniper berries to gently extract their bright, fruity characteristics and distill everything else in our 1,500-liter pot still. Our custom Arnold Holstein stills give us precise control, allowing us to capture the exact flavors we're after.
The Experience
Compelling neat and genre-busting in cocktails.
While some gins can lean towards the astringent, Dry Rye Gin’s texture is anything but—instead, think rich and velvety.
Its unique blend of malty, spicy flavors gives it a natural affinity with bitters, citrus, stone fruit, or ginger.
Try it in a remarkable Negroni or in a revelatory French 75, where its malted rye base enhances the biscuity qualities of fine champagne. The Penicillin highlights Dry Rye’s versatility. It stands in beautifully for the blended scotch of the original while adding new aromatics to this modern classic.
