Vecchio Amaro del Capo is an iconic Calabrian amaro produced by the Caffo family for over four generations. It is crafted from a secret recipe that blends 29 different herbs, flowers, fruits, and roots native to Calabria, including bitter and sweet orange peel, mandarin, liquorice, chamomile, juniper, peppermint, and aniseed. 35% ABV
The liqueur has a burnished coppery amber color and a complex aroma combining pungent orange zest, floral notes of lavender, orange blossom, and jasmine, with hints of honey, cloves, cardamom, and black pepper. Its taste is bittersweet, balancing the intensity of quinine and herbs with subtle sweetness, making it approachable even for delicate palates.
